What is burnout?
Burnout is different for each one of us, but it could be like: feeling tired, feeling uninspired, finding it hard to get started with projects, not wanting to face the general workload.
Surely we want to avoid this?
Why we need boundaries
As someone who works for themselves, we don't have a boss to tell us to take a break or finish for the day. Often working from our own homes, it's difficult to maintain regular working hours, and can find ourselves working from morning until night, This is especially common when we get excited about a project or there is deadline is looming.
We need to put these in place to protect ourselves and ensure we don't reach total depletion. Because if we're feeling burned out, then who is going to cover the workload?

In the past decade I’ve burned myself out countless times.
I recognised I was in that place time and time again. Exhausted. And unable to work effectively.
Something had to change. I had to change the way I work.
This is how I created this course. With all the principles I’ve put in place to stop me reaching that pit of burnout once again.
It’s worked for me, and I’ve managed to sustain my energy without burnout for the past few years now.
